About the Author
Laura M. Starsoneck is the Assistant Director for the Center for Women and Children at Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, Maryland. She has spent over ten years in ministry in the community, especially in the challenges of homelessness, food insecurity, housing, and addiction. She has an adopted daughter, Adalynn.
Laura received her undergraduate degree from Covenant College in Psychology and played four years of college basketball. Laura then went on to receive her Masters in Human Environment Science-Child Development at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa campus.
Laura enjoys running long distance, serving the community, music and going on trips to new places.
